Alison Stanton provides a wide range of conservation treatments and works with a variety of historic textiles

including interior furnishing fabrics, ecclesiastical textiles  

and embroideries. 

 

She specialises in tapestry conservation, offering an annual tapestry monitoring programme for historic houses.

Working from her studio in Northamptonshire, Alison has been privileged to conserve textiles from the collections of the National Trust, historic houses including Castle Howard and Doddington Hall, museums, parish churches and private individuals.

The utmost care is given to every object, regardless of size or value, from handkerchiefs to tapestries.
